Louisville to discuss concept plan for new town center development

LOUISVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A new “town center” could be coming to Blount County. Discussions are still in the early stages, and nothing has been approved yet, but the idea will be presented to Louisville town leaders on Tuesday.

“I think that it would be so cool to have places to go and things to do, because I feel like that’s where it’s kind of lacking sometimes,” said Louisville resident Gracie Keyl.

“I’m really kind of tired of all the growth. I think it’s outgrowing our communities,” added Dorothy Garrett.
