Bankrupt Jackson Hospital confirms workforce ‘restructuring efforts’

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Workforce “restructuring efforts” are underway at Montgomery’s Jackson Hospital, a hospital spokesperson confirms to WSFA 12 News.

“As shared by our CEO, John Quinlivan, Jackson Hospital is currently undergoing restructuring efforts to better align our workforce with our operational needs,” said spokesperson Pryer Hines when asked about reports of staff layoffs.

No other details were provided about how many of the hospital’s staffers or which specific departments would be affected by the restructuring, or exactly what the restructuring plan would involve…
