PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Drivers in Portsmouth should expect delays starting Monday as construction work begins along Route 164 near Towne Point Road, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Officials said the work will require closing the westbound on-ramp from Towne Point Road onto Route 164. The closure is the first of two planned in the area, although the timeline for the second has not yet been announced.
