Spanberger names four appointees to Virginia Tech Board of Visitors

BLACKSBURG, Va. (WFXR)- Governor Abigail Spanberger announced the appointment of four members to Virginia Tech’s Board of Visitors.

The appointments for the following individuals will begin on July 1:

  • Sharon Brickhouse Martin of Arlington, Vice President of Health Services Integration at VHC Health
  • Christopher Ramos of Falls Church, Senior Account Manager, Microsoft
  • Jane Cady Rathbone of Virginia Beach, Principal & CEO Emeritus, Hanbury Architects
  • Mehul Sanghani of McLean, Founder & Managing Partner, Greycore Ventures

The terms for Rosa Atkins, Edward H. Baine, Ryan D. McCarthy, Mehul Sanghani, Margaret Ann Smith will end on June 30.

The Board of Visitors has 14 members, 13 of whom are generally appointed by the governor to four-year terms. The 14th member is president of the Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services. At least six of the appointed members must be alumni of the university.
