ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – When the owner of a Roanoke butcher shop wrote up the business plan in 2019, sourcing products from quality producers was the top priority.
Yard Bull Meats prepares cuts of meat in the front of the shop. The business has a window into the walk-in cooler so customers can see how meats are stored. Owner Tyler Thomas said the open approach is intentional and begins before the meat arrives at the shop.
