Three children’s hospitals added to Golisano Children’s Alliance

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Three children’s hospitals are being added to the Golisano Children’s Alliance.

Rochester philanthropist and entrepreneur Tom Golisano announced a $125 million investment to bring three hospitals into the alliance, which is a national network of children’s hospitals aiming to improve pediatric care.

The three hospitals and the amount of money invested are as follows: Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron, Ohio ($50 million), Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio ($40 million), and Avera Health in Sioux Falls, South Dakota ($35 million). Each hospital will adopt “Golisano” into its name…
