GREEN BAY (WLUK) — A husky who went viral for surviving an apparent gunshot wound and a 30-foot fall from an overpass died over the weekend, officials announced Monday.
Stella was brought to the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Green Bay campus last month after good Samaritans witnessed the runaway dog leap off an overpass landing. While she was being evaluated, veterinarians discovered metal fragments from an apparent gun shot, internal bleeding and severe damage to her lungs and chest, likely caused by her fall.
