Bowie man held without bond in carjacking of Prince George’s County clerk courts

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Mahasin El Amin, the elected clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George’s County, was carjacked last week in an incident that police say has led to the arrest of a Bowie teenager now held without bond and facing an attempted murder charge in a separate shooting.

El Amin was carjacked on Thursday. She said the encounter unfolded rapidly and left her fearing for her life.

“It’s the scariest thing that ever happened to me,” El Amin said in an interview Friday. “It was so quick — and all the thoughts like, ‘I’m literally going to die.’”…
