GASTON CO, N.C. (WBTV) – Limit your water usage — that’s the message coming from Duke Energy and other leaders on Monday as drought conditions persist across the Charlotte region.
Voluntary water restrictions were in place in Charlotte and several nearby communities as of Monday, April 20 due to an ongoing drought in the Carolinas. Environmental groups say that if everyone works together, resources can be stretched until the region sees much-needed rain.
