Hundreds of makers take over Dunedin’s Main Street for 33rd annual Dunedin Craft Festival

We never need an excuse to walk the streets of Downtown Dunedin, but we won’t say no when a perfectly great one arises. The 33rd Annual Dunedin Craft Festival returns to the city this Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26, bringing hundreds of makers and artists from across the country.

The festival is completely free to attend, with festivities taking place from 10 am – 5 pm each day. A massive swath of Main Street Dunedin will be closed to traffic as the entire space is filled with artisans, creators, shops and more. Portions of Virginia Lane, Douglas Ave and Highland Ave will also be closed to traffic, as the gigantic annual festival fills up roughly a dozen full city blocks.

The streets, sidewalks, and local shops and restaurants will be overflowing with colorful creations, incredible food and drink, and the type of creativity for which the city of Dunedin has become so celebrated. The Dunedin Craft Festival is one the city’s biggest yearly celebrations.

Organizers American Craft Endeavors promise another exciting edition of the festival: “Discover handmade, original works of art and fine craftsmanship from some of the nation’s most talented artists, including jewelry, paintings, photography, ceramics, home decor, pet accessories, and more! This outdoor event also features live plants and tasty treats.”…
