The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of a new principal during its regularly scheduled meeting last week, naming Kristina R. Jackson to lead the Buice Center.
Jackson, who currently serves as Coordinator of Special Education in the Division of Teaching and Learning, will assume her new role following the retirement of Kim Mankin.
Jackson brings more than two decades of experience in education, including leadership roles within Gwinnett County Public Schools and other districts across the state.
