New principal named to lead the Buice Center

The Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of a new principal during its regularly scheduled meeting last week, naming Kristina R. Jackson to lead the Buice Center.

Jackson, who currently serves as Coordinator of Special Education in the Division of Teaching and Learning, will assume her new role following the retirement of Kim Mankin.

Jackson brings more than two decades of experience in education, including leadership roles within Gwinnett County Public Schools and other districts across the state. She has served as Coordinator of Special Education since 2018 and previously held assistant principal positions at Arcado Elementary School from 2010 to 2015 and Lilburn Middle School from 2007 to 2010…
