A former Cranston Public Schools teaching assistant and relative of a former Rhode Island congressman was released on personal recognizance after being charged with misdemeanor cocaine possession.
Police said Stephanie Cicilline Given was charged on March 17 after a plastic bag containing cocaine was found in a bathroom at Chester W. Barrows Elementary School.
