Shoppers at some Alabama Walmart locations will soon see improvements at their stores.
As part of a sweeping growth project that includes opening 20 new locations, Walmart announced plans to renovate 650 stores nationwide, including 12 in Alabama. The remodels will include upgraded technology, layouts and services.

Alabama stores being remodeled are:
- Adamsville Walmart Supercenter at 2473 Hackworth Road
- Brent Walmart Supercenter at 10675 Highway 5
- Brewton Walmart Supercenter at 2578 Douglas Ave.
- Florence Walmart Supercenter at 3100 Hough Road
- Jasper Walmart Supercenter at 1801 Highway 78 East
- Leeds Walmart Supercenter at 8551 Whitfield Ave.
- Madison Walmart Supercenter at 8650 Madison Blvd.
- Montgomery Walmart Supercenter at 851 Ann Street
- Muscle Shoals Walmart Supercenter at 301 Avalon Avenue
- Oxford Walmart Supercenter at 92 Plaza Lane
- Talladega Walmart Supercenter at 214 Haynes Street
- Theodore Walmart Neighborhood Market at 7320 Dawes Road
The updates will include wider aisles and easier-to-navigate layouts, expanded pickup and delivery services, updated vision centers and pharmacies with private consultation rooms and new digital touchpoints throughout the store to make shopping online easier.
