Investigators in Santa Barbara County are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects connected to an arson nearly a year and a half ago.
The Dec. 5, 2024, fire happened at 478 4th Place in Solvang, at the site of the former Sear Steakhouse, according to a news release from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Investigators said the suspects appear to be juveniles or young adults and are believed to be local to the Santa Ynez Valley.

“The individuals were seen leaving the building approximately 15 minutes before the fire was first observed,” investigators said. “They returned to a parking lot across the street, where they were observed on security cameras watching the fire.”
