CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga city council is taking the first steps to address what they call a traffic bottleneck at the Hamill Road railroad crossing in Hixson.
According to federal data, the tracks rank as one of the worst in the state when it comes to blocked crossings.
