FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A 34-year-old man who was convicted in the 2009 homicide of a Fort Wayne pizza delivery driver is accused of violating the terms of his probation.
DeAngelo Bennett was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2011, two years after 32-year-old Ian Crace was gunned down while making a delivery for Pizza by Vito’s. Bennett was released from prison and began serving a five-year probation period in August 2024.
According to court records obtained by 21Investigates, Bennett was caught driving drunk last month, something he admitted to doing during a court hearing in Adams County on Monday. His probation officer also alleges Bennett has not paid fees and restitution on time…
