Fort Wayne Swim & Wellness selling U.S. Olympic trials pool

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Fort Wayne Swim and Wellness Alliance, Inc. announced on Tuesday that it is selling its 2024 Olympic Trials pool after challenges to secure funding to keep the project.

The owner of the nonprofit, John Gibson, says they are hoping to raise $1.5-1.7 million by selling the pool and related equipment and memorabilia.

Gibson says some key partners who provided funding for the group to house the pool have put the funding on an indefinite hold, making it “financially impossible” for them to continue to store the pool…
