FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)— Larry White and Terence Kendrick said they are “big enough to build it, yet small enough to care” when it comes to new builds on Fort Wayne’s southeast side.
White is the owner of Liberty Realty Group and grew up in southeast Fort Wayne, and has a goal of reinvesting in his community. Now a realtor, he wanted to team up with a contractor with a similar vision and goal. That’s when he saw Kendrick’s work and shot him a Facebook message. Kendrick eventually responded… two years later.
“I saw a bunch of names and for whatever reason I only saw his name,” Kendrick said. “And I just gave him a call. We just got to talking and [Larry] said ‘Well, I can’t remember what I was calling about two years ago.”

Eventually, White was able to jog his own memory. He saw one of the homes Kendrick built and wanted to team up. 4926 Plaza Dr. isn’t the duo’s first home, but it highlights what can be done on vacant lots in southeast Fort Wayne. It’s something they want to continue in the future. And it’s a success story.
