Woman charged with vehicular homicide in Nashville construction zone crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A woman is facing serious charges after a deadly crash in a construction zone earlier this month.

Deja Fleurimond, 27, is charged with vehicular homicide after police say she was driving 97 miles per hour when she slammed into the back of a stopped car. The crash claimed the life of Leeann Julian, 47, of Goodlettsville, who was behind the wheel of that vehicle and had stopped for the road construction. Julian died at the scene.

Now, Fleurimond is charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness and reckless endangerment…
