TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers heading through North Tampa should prepare for a bit of a headache starting Tuesday morning. The City of Tampa Water Department is officially shutting down the outside westbound lane of East Busch Boulevard, specifically the stretch between North 20th Street and North 19th Street.
The cones go out at 9:00 AM today, April 21, to give crews enough room to perform scheduled maintenance on the local water distribution system. While the city hasn’t detailed the exact nature of the repairs, the closure is expected to remain in place for several days.
