The number of Lincoln workplaces officially recognized as “family-friendly” has tripled over the last few months.
The Lincoln Family-Friendly Workplace Certification Program, administered though the nonprofit Lincoln Littles and the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, was announced in October 2025 and commends employers who adopt family-friendly workplace practices, such as paid parental leave, hybrid options, and caregiver resources.
In December, the program’s inaugural 13 employers received certifications: Ameritas, City of Lincoln, Don’t Panic Labs, FNBO, Hudl, Lincoln Children’s Zoo, Lincoln Community Foundation, Lincoln Electric System, Primrose School at Hudl, Primrose School of Lincoln at Wilderness Hills, Schemmer, TMCO and University of Nebraska-Lincoln…
