Police make arrest in Boise bank robbery case

BOISE, Idaho — Almost a week after a bank robbery took place, Boise Police have a suspect in custody.

According to a Boise Police Department (BPD) news release, 39-year-old Joaquin Pereira, of Boise, was arrested on April 20 following an investigation into the incident.

BPD reports that on April 14, a suspect had robbed a bank near Vista Avenue and Overland Road. At the time of the incident, police were unsure of who the suspect was and asked social media for help in the matter…
