The Fresno State Bulldogs landed another local commitment on Tuesday for the 2027 recruiting glass. Bakersfield (Calif.) Garces offensive lineman Carsten Campbell committed to the ‘Dogs after a visit to campus.
Campbell is not only a Central Valley addition, but has family ties to the program. His uncle Byron Campbell played linebacker for the ‘Dogs in the 1980s. More recently, his cousin Joseph Campbell was a walk-on quarterback in 2020-21 and again in 2024.
Carsten Campbell is a three-star recruit himself, picking the Bulldogs over other offers from Oregon State, San Diego State, UNLV, UTSA, Cal Poly, and Sacramento State. He also received interest from UCLA and Washington State…
