Judge accepts insanity plea in Bath Twp. break-in, hostage-taking case

CLINTON COUNTY, Mich. (WILX) -Charges, including assault with intent to murder, have been dismissed against an East Lansing man after the judge accepted a plea of not guilty for reason of insanity.

According to Clinton County prosecutors, Bailey Glazier broke into several homes in Bath Township while carrying a knife in July of last year.

Police confronted Glazier and he took a homeowner hostage before running away and breaking into another home…
