GE Aerospace program brings workforce training investment to Alabama

AUBURN, Ala. — A new workforce training investment is coming to Alabama as part of a global program aimed at filling critical manufacturing jobs in the aerospace industry.

Auburn is one of five communities selected in the first round of the GE Aerospace Foundation’s new $30 million “Lifting Futures” program, which focuses on expanding advanced manufacturing training and preparing workers for high-demand jobs across the aerospace sector.
