Man wanted in Florida caught attempting to break into Indiana homes

ZIONSVILLE, Ind. — A Chilean man who was caught trying to break into homes in an upscale Zionsville neighborhood is now accused of being part of a South American theft gang that stole more than $2 million-worth of items from homes in South Florida.

Jose Barrozo-Espinoza was arrested in late March after a resident of the Irishmans Run neighborhood noticed a suspicious vehicle stopping in front of several homes in the area.

That same neighbor told police they later saw a man dressed in all black running through several backyards. After they called 911, the Zionsville Police Department launched their drone and tracked the suspect. The Whitestown Police Department ended up taking him into custody.
