Bayonne mayoral candidate Sharon Ashe-Nadrowski is punching at one of her electoral rival, Councilman at-Large Loyad Booker, over data center-related votes in Bayonne dating back to December until as recent as last week.
“Bayonne residents are sick and tired of insider politicians like Loyad Booker selling us out and putting corporations, big developers and campaign donors ahead of our community’s best interests,” Ashe-Nadrowski said in a statement Tuesday.
“We need to elect leaders who will answer only to the people of Bayonne. As mayor I will demand open, honest and transparent government that is accountable to the residents. It’s time for change, and Team Sharon is running for office so we can deliver it.”
Data centers were permitted at the Delta Self-Storage Facility on New Hook Road last December following separate votes by the planning board and council, after the related redevelopment plan was amended to include the facilities as permitted uses…
