Froosta Ice Cream is embarking on opening a shop in the Wilcrest neighborhood. According to a recently filed permit, the new sweets shop is expected to open at 11922 Wilcrest DR in the Southwest Plaza.
The $50,000 construction project is slated to start at the beginning of May and wrap up by the end of May this year, the permit details. Of course, the timeline is subject to change as work on the 1, 376 sqaure-foot ice cream and dessert shop continues.
At the helm of the opening is Rahil Sunsara. What Now Houston briefly spoke with Sunsara, who confirmed that Froosta Ice Cream would open this spring, but was unable to share further details about the opening by the time of this publication…
