Fentanyl on the rise in Minnesota

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) data shows fentanyl arrests and seizures are rising in Minnesota as law enforcement says the drug is reaching communities across the state.

Special Agent in Charge Dustin Gillespie, a top DEA official, told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS the agency had made 103 fentanyl-related arrests in Minnesota through mid-April. The DEA made 148 such arrests in all of last year.
