Marietta woman accused of burning child’s hands on stove as punishment

Ana Esveidy Enrique Casanova, 31, of Marietta, is accused of pulling a boy out of his bed, dragging him to the kitchen, turning on the electric stove top and putting his hands on top of it on April 1 at 4 p.m. at a mobile home at 1238 Atlanta Road in Marietta, in the Fair Oaks Mobile Home Park, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

The warrant lists her as Ana Esveidy Enrique Casanova, but jail records list her as Ana Enrique.

The top of the boy’s left hand and the palm of his right hand were burned as a form of punishment for not cleaning the home while Casanova wasn’t home…
