More than 40 bullet casings found at scene of Knotts St shooting: warrant

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Deputies found more than 40 bullet casings at the scene of an alleged gang-related shooting on Knotts Street that killed one man and wounded another, according to a warrant obtained by 17 News.

Arthur Deray Ward, 30, was shot April 13 just west of North Baker Street and pronounced dead at a hospital, according to sheriff’s officials. The other victim wasn’t named.

Surveillance video and license plate cameras led police to the accused gunmen — Matthew Ryan Rodriguez, 21, and Donterrence DeShawn Frank Brown, 22, according to the warrant…
