BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kaiser Permanente is set to partner with law enforcement for a free drug take back and recycling event Saturday.
The event is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 at the Kaiser Permanente Ming Medical Office located at 8800 Ming Ave.
During the drive-thru service event, community members can drop off the following items:
- Expired and unwanted medications
- Over-the-counter medications
- Paper for shredding (please remove staples and paper clips)
- Gently used sports equipment
- Eyeglasses and hearing aids
- Clothing and furniture
- Electronic waste
- Used books
- Power wheelchairs and power scooters
- Manual wheelchairs and rollators (seated walkers)
