This massive free book fair is coming to Birmingham: ‘A celebration of books’

The “largest community book fair in Birmingham’s history” is coming to the Magic City on Saturday, May 2.

The book fair, hosted by Rocky Heights Print & Binding, will feature more than 100 booths, including more than 70 authors and other vendors, at 298 West Valley Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free, outdoor event will also include live performances, food trucks, workshops, a children’s zone and even pet adoption opportunities.

“Birmingham’s independent literary culture is thriving, and this event is the largest, most community-driven celebration of books the city has ever seen,” Joshua Adams, owner of Huntsville Independent Press, said in a statement…
