PSP: York County babysitter charged after toddler found on roadway

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A babysitter was allegedly sleeping when a toddler under their care was found in the middle of a York County road Tuesday morning, charging documents filed by Pennsylvania State Police show.

Arissa Ward, 32, of Windsor, faces a felony charge of endangering the welfare of children and a misdemeanor charge of recklessly endangering another person, according to court documents.

The toddler had no socks or shoes on when someone reportedly found him around 8 a.m. in 37-degree temperatures, State Police at York said in the criminal complaint…
