Friday into Saturday Outlook
The Storm Prediction Center has placed portions of Alabama in a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. For now, this is mainly across the northwestern portion.
- The main threats include damaging winds up to 60 mph and large hail up to quarter-size.

Looking ahead to Monday, April 27, there is a level 2 out of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms from the Storm Prediction Center for Monday into Monday night. These are early thoughts as we are still several days away from the active weather pattern.
