Virginia State Police troopers ruled justified in shooting of suspect

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia State Police troopers were justified in shooting the suspect in an attempted murder, according to Roanoke Commonwealth’s Attorney John McNeil, Jr.

Markieth O. Bryson, Jr., 28 of Roanoke, died at the scene of the shooting, according to police. No members of law enforcement were hurt.
