STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who allegedly went on a robbery spree in northeastern Staten Island.
Police say that three robberies were committed between April 12 and April 15 by one man, primarily in the Tompkinsville and Fox Hills area of Staten Island. One additional robbery occurred near Silver Lake.
According to police, in all three incidents, the suspect entered a convenience store and demanded money at gunpoint.
In two of the cases, a total of $1,600 was taken from two cash registers. In the other incident, the suspect allegedly stole $120 from a 37-year-old man’s pockets and another $300 from the man’s vehicle parked outside one of the stores, police say. No injuries were reported…
