There is one property in Amarillo that is in the process of getting some major work done on it. My earliest memories of this property were it being a big purple building that housed Ruby Tequila’s on Paramount.
A History of the Property: From Ruby Tequila’s to Joe’s Place
I started my short career of waiting tables in that location back in the nineties. Since then, it has been Joe Daddy’s; it had a very short-lived time as a nightclub called Club Nova.
Most recently, it housed Joe’s Place, which had some events and let food trucks and other people that needed a commercial kitchen work out of there. They have since closed down as well.
The interesting part is that there has been some work that has started on the building in the past week…..
