AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Officials with Amarillo Independent School District said students presented their final projects on Wednesday morning after participating in a 13-week collaboration between AmTech Career Academy and Pantex.
According to Amarillo ISD, students stepped out of the classroom and into the role of industrial consultants during the 13-week partnership. Immersing themselves in the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, the students worked at the Amarillo ISD auto maintenance shop, streamlining work management processes and learning to modernize procedures and drive efficiency.
