Spokane man looking for answers, accountability after he says electronic return was swapped out with cookies

SPOKANE, Wash. — A local veteran is looking for some answers after he says some electronic equipment he was attempting to return was somehow swapped out with cookies.

“They said we got your package, but it’s only Girl Scout cookies in the package,” Riley said. “I thought they were joking. They sent me a photo and it was about four or five boxes of Girl Scout cookies.”

Receipts of the mailed package show when Riley had dropped it off, the weight of the package was just over eight pounds. Photos show there were a total of four boxes of cookies in what was ultimately received by the seller, which are estimated to weigh around two to three pounds…
