LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. — A Cumberland County man was arrested on narcotics charges following a traffic stop in La Grange, according to the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office says detectives with its Narcotics Unit were conducting proactive patrol on April 21, 2026, when they observed a vehicle swerving outside its lane of travel. Deputies initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as 39-year-old Dupree Turner of Fayetteville.
According to investigators, cocaine was found in Turner’s possession during the stop. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Lenoir County Jail…
