UNION CITY, N.J. (PIX11) — An arrest was made following a December 2025 hit-and-run that killed a New Jersey pedestrian, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced on Wednesday.
At around 5:40 p.m. on Dec. 27, 2025, 42-year-old Tomas Amelcolima allegedly struck Fabiola Bedoya, 83, with his car and did not remain at the scene, according to police.

Bedoya was struck in the vicinity of 30th Street and Palisades Avenue in Union City, according to investigators.
