Reimagined Bath + Racquet club expects condo occupation by fall

Walking through the construction that is the initial phase of the revived Bath + Racquet Residents & Club belies the goal of occupancy by its first residents in only a few months.

It’s an out-of-the-ordinary fusion of a residential development and private racket club, the site layout and design seamlessly integrating the club facilities and condominiums as imagined by Halflants + Pichette Architects of Sarasota.

The redevelopment of the nearly 60-year-old institution at Robinhood Road just off South Tamiami Trail into a mixed-use residential, commercial and private tennis and pickleball club continues at a breakneck pace as first-level floors have yet to be poured, and many of the units are still only at the interior framing stage. If all goes as planned, though, by this fall owners will be moving into their new condos and upwards of six of the 11 outdoor courts and many of the private club amenities will be ready, according to the developer.
