LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A 41-year-old woman whose body was discovered in a northeast Lincoln retention pond has now been identified, and investigators are releasing new details about her death.
Lincoln police said officers were called to a retention pond near 50th and R streets on the afternoon of Feb. 16th, after a person was spotted in the water. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and Lincoln Fire and Rescue assisted in removing her body.
