Teen dead after shooting in Northeast DC, investigation underway

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A Thursday shooting in Northeast D.C. left a teenage boy dead, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police said officers responded to reports of shots fired at 5:14 p.m. in the 5300 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., NE.

Investigation underway after person found dead in vehicle near DC gas station

There, the teen was found suffering from a gunshot wound, semi-conscious and breathing. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
