SALUDA, S.C. (WIS) – The Saluda County Coroner has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash.
Saluda County Coroner Angie Rita has identified the victim as Mark Wharton, 61, of Monetta, Aiken County.
South Carolina Highway Patrol said the incident happened Wednesday night at 10:10 p.m. A 2000 Suzuki motorcycle was traveling west on Columbia Highway (U.S. 378) near Roseland Drive when it struck a deer, causing Wharton to fall into the roadway, where he was struck by an unknown vehicle…
