CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Healthy & Holistic nonprofit commemorated the 10th anniversary of the Jackie Louise Memorial Scholarship on April 11, marking a decade of investment in the academic futures of local students.
Established in 2016 by the family of the late Jackie Louise, the scholarship honors her enduring commitment to education and passion for uplifting others. Initially launched through a modest T-shirt fundraiser with a goal of raising $250, the fund was designed to support graduating seniors from Kenwood High School.
Over the years, the scholarship has grown in both scope and impact. In 2021, with the support of community donors, eligibility expanded to include all seniors within CMCSS. This year marked a significant milestone, as 10 students were each awarded $1,000 scholarships, up from $750 in previous years.
