SANDUSKY, Ohio — U.S. Marshals arrested a Columbus shooting suspect in Sandusky on Thursday, ending a multi-county manhunt for a man wanted in connection with a March shooting that wounded two people.
Dwayne Rheubottom, 38, was taken into custody at a residence in the 800 block of West Adams Street by members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. He faces felonious assault charges stemming from a March 22 shooting in Columbus.
Columbus police responded to the 1400 block of Oakland Park Avenue that day and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds and a woman shot in the leg. Investigators determined Rheubottom was involved in the shooting and issued a warrant for his arrest…
