Man charged after bringing gun to Montgomery school campus

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly bringing a gun to Bellingrath Middle School, according to court documents.

Antwvan Leon Hill, 53, was charged with possessing a weapon on school property and making terroristic threats.

Court records state that agents assigned to the Montgomery Metro Crime Suppression Unit received a call at about 2:53 p.m. reporting that someone was on school grounds with a gun.

A school employee said Hill drove onto the grounds and parked in the roadway at the rear entrance of the school. Agents found Hill wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, standing outside a black Dodge Charger. Hill then walked back onto the campus and shouted a threatening statement…
