PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A popular Providence seafood restaurant has been given the green light to reopen after a man was shot there last week.
The Providence Board of Licenses issued a warning to Capri Seafood Thursday evening. The board also ordered Capri Seafood to close for four days, but noted the restaurant could open back up immediately since it has been shut down since the shooting happened.
Providence Board of Licenses chairman Peter Mancini told 12 News the restaurant has been cooperative and has a clean record otherwise. Mancini also said this appears to be an isolated incident that has nothing to do with the restaurant itself…
